Privacy

This page explains what NetFinders stores, why, and for how long. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

Visitors

We keep ordinary web server logs: the address a request came from, the page, the time and the browser string. They are used to keep the site working and to spot abuse, and they are deleted on a rolling basis. There are no advertising cookies and no analytics script that follows you to other sites.

Form messages

When you send a message through a form, we store what you typed so that we can answer it. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not pass it to anyone else.

Business owners

A listing holds the business name, category, town, a description, opening hours and a public contact channel the owner chose. The email address used to confirm a listing is kept privately and is never published.

Removal

Ask through the contact page and a listing is removed. Notes about visits are removed with it. You do not need to give a reason.
